Description
|
- Perform
Install, Configure and Administer Databases in one or multiple platforms
like Microsoft SQL, DB2 UDB, Sybase, DB2 Z/Os, and Teradata.
- Perform
daily operational Database management, including, administration,
performance and utilization monitoring, capacity management, and problem
resolution activities
- Apply
extensive knowledge of multiple database technologies, platforms and
services.
- Perform
complex / advanced support activities and respond to queries when needed
to ensure continuous coverage during support hours without guidance
- Plan,
schedule, test, implement, and document change activities within
allocated time frames, without impacting or conflicting with other
activities
- Perform
activities related to implementation and rollout for new databases,
upgrades, products and configurations
- Keep
up to date on the latest security risks and apply appropriated
countermeasures to environments to protect the systems.
- Respond
to issues via phone or email, and submit, update, close, or escalate the
issues to senior team members, or the business as required.
